About the Figurine:
Each baby is a one of a kind sculpt (OOAK).
Hand sculpt from polymer clay over wire, they are not sculpt bodied (soft body).
Each baby's skin tone is not painted.
Rather, it is the clays true appearance.
Only baby's features have been lightly hand painted and cheecks lightly blushed.
Their sleepy eyes are closed and pale pink lip color, reveal a hint of smile.
Long pointed ears poke out from beneath The baby's night cap.

About the Costume:
A velvety soft cotton cap with dark floral print is worn by each baby.
Fine silk "grass" in jewel tone colors are tucked tight close to the baby's face.
Each baby is wrapped in a recieving blanket of green gauze which is shredded at the edges.
And is glittered sparingly with an opalescent fine dust!

About the Baby Sling:
The sling is beautiful embossed brown leather,
stuffed with cotton batting so the ornaments weight remains light.
The bottom of the sling is decorated
with sparkling eyelash trim, a silk bow and beads.

Authentication:
Each original design Art Doll I create comes with a photo certificate of authenticity.
Each piece is also numbered hand signed by me.
And while each One of a kind doll has its own personality, they are often part of a series of fairy folk.
It is in this way that additional dolls may beaded to your fairy collection and retain
a consistant quality and wonderful peek into a wonderfully enchanted world!

These pieces all begin as clay over a strong wire armature.
Most of the figures are 3-6 inches in height.
A careful attention to the figures gesture, expression, choice of costuming and
of course generous amounts oflovely embellishments, ensure each is a whimsical
addition to fantasy collection!
These fairies are all One of a Kinds, I do not use a doll mold of any kind.
These pieces are fragile and intended as an indoor display only.
They can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
It is best to keep in a curio cabinet or protective doll display.
